Star Haven Farms is
proud to be a member of the Brazos Valley Grassfed Society. Our group is working
to make sure that "grass fed" means the cattle live their lives without grain and are free to roam pastures!
The USDA has suggested guidelines for grass fed labeling that will allow grain to be fed, not be pastured and
still be labeled Grass Fed. We oppose this labeling as it is misleading and will allow commercial feedlots to claim
grassfed status. For more information on how feeding grain compromises grassfed benefits, please go to http://eatwild.com/news.html *** Looking For More Information About Locally Produced Healthy Food? We personally purchase
from these outstanding producers and highly recommend their delicious products!
